She is the founder of NIARA Consulting, a full-service company that provides complete consulting services for individuals, nonprofits, small businesses, and corporations. Jodi is also one of New York's top lifestyle coaches, and fitness experts and serves on the Black Chef Series Cutting Board and Women’s Media Group Board.
Currently, Jodi is a DEIB advisor at ParagonOne, a company that creates virtual work-based learning experiences for students and advances the social impact goals of enterprises. In this role, she advises conglomerates such as Honda, The Home Depot, Boeing, UPS and more on diversity strategy. She also is an DEIB Consultant for National Urban League managing their BEEP Program (Business Executive Exchange Program. Since 2012, Brockington has produced and hosted the National Urban League Jobs Network’s Digital Career Success Series.
Previously, Jodi was responsible for developing a pipeline of diverse talent and acquired the most qualified candidates as the Director of Diversity & Inclusion Sourcing for the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), the premier post-trade market infrastructure for the global financial services industry. From operating facilities and data centers around the world, DTCC automates, centralizes, and standardizes the processing of financial transactions across the trade lifecycle and mitigates risk for thousands of institutions worldwide.
Ever featured in the media, in 2022, Jodi was awarded "Top 25 Women in Power Impacting Diversity" by Diversity Plus Magazine and a recent featured guest expert on the Cheddar News Morning Show" Wake Up" speaking on "How Tech Layoffs Are Impacting The Industry."
Jodi's newest passion is BLENDiD, a community that enables people with biracial and multiracial backgrounds everywhere to connect through personalized content and connections. As Founder & Culture Futurist (a person who studies the future and makes predictions about culture based on trends and events) her impact will be felt as she leads the conversation on what it means to be biracial in America.
