Jodi Brockington, Co-Founder, VPB

Jodi Brockington is a dynamic connector and seasoned thought leader known for guiding entrepreneurs, executives, and organizations toward greater impact. With a background in management consulting and a passion for execution, Jodi has coached thousands of professionals, helping them launch and scale purpose-driven ventures. Her work spans the public and private sectors, where she’s developed strategies that drive inclusive growth, social responsibility, and innovation.


As the founder of NIARA Consulting, Jodi delivers full-service solutions to individuals, nonprofits, and corporations seeking to align their mission with measurable outcomes. She currently serves as a DEIB advisor at ParagonOne—supporting corporate partners like Honda, The Home Depot, and Boeing—and as a consultant for the National Urban League’s Business Executive Exchange Program (BEEP). A frequent media contributor and award recipient, Jodi was named one of the “Top 25 Women in Power Impacting Diversity” by DiversityPlus Magazine and regularly appears on platforms like Cheddar News.


Her newest passion project, BLENDiD, is a storytelling and community platform for biracial and multiracial individuals, reflecting Jodi’s lifelong commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices. As host of the VPB Podcast, Jodi brings curiosity, cultural fluency, and strategic insight to each episode—connecting builders, backers, and believers shaping the future of impact ventures.

Meet the Author

Alain Leroy, Co-Founder, VPB

Alain Leroy is the author of Venture Philanthropy Blueprint (VPB) and the architect behind a venture-building platform designed to transform bold ideas into scalable impact ventures by integrating capital, capacity, and community. A strategist, operator, and ecosystem builder with more than three decades of leadership across corporate and entrepreneurial arenas, he has led digital transformation and go-to-market initiatives for Fortune 500 companies and early-stage ventures alike.

A builder from the start, Alain exited his first tech startup before graduating from college and later launched ventures spanning fintech, new media, and infrastructure recovery. Today, he designs growth systems that help mission-driven founders move from vision to execution through initiatives including the VPB Collective, the VPB Fellowship, and the VPB Growth Operator Platform.

Raised in a vibrant West Indian household in Queens, New York, Alain holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
