Alain Leroy is the Founder & Managing Partner of Venture Philanthropy Blueprint™ (VPB), a social impact venture development platform dedicated to transforming how mission-driven ventures are funded and scaled—through the integration of capital, innovation, and execution. He is an active Angel Investor and Limited Partner (LP) in a social impact venture fund, and serves as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for multiple high-growth incubators and startup accelerators.
With decades of experience in corporate strategy and venture building, Alain has helped create growth ecosystems that empower both founders and funders. His work sits at the intersection of technology, social impact, and entrepreneurship—advising, investing in, and scaling ventures that blend purpose with performance.
He is the author of the VPB Handbook and the architect behind the platform’s flagship initiatives, including the Growth Operator Network, Digital Learning Hub, and Investor Readiness Toolkit . Alain also serves as a board member of The Haitian Roundtable, a senior advisor to several social enterprises, and a frequent speaker on inclusive capitalism and tech-powered impact.
Alain earned a B.S. in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and an MBA in Corporate Strategy and International Business from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. He also holds executive certifications in Artificial Intelligence and Business Transformation from MIT, INSEAD, and Kellogg School of Management.
