Adam Cummings is part of a new wave of Jamaican entrepreneurs reshaping how the world sees the island—not just as the land of music and track stars, but as a breeding ground for bold ideas and disruptive businesses.

Before business, Adam made his mark on the track. At the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Championships, he not only broke the Class III 100m record but was named Most Outstanding Male Performer of the entire championship. That early brilliance earned him a place on Jamaica’s national team, where he represented the country at major World Youth Championships, carrying the flag of excellence to the global stage.

From breaking records on the track to breaking barriers in business, Adam has always believed the race isn’t just about speed—it’s about impact.

Born into storytelling, he grew up at the Jamaica Observer alongside his father, a photojournalist whose lens captured history in real time. That creative environment became the foundation for his career in media and innovation.

He went on to launch Apeiron Digital Pro, a video-first digital agency that has led 360° campaigns for some of Jamaica’s largest corporations in telecommunications, banking, and FMCG, while also building strategies for medium and small businesses across the island. He also backed and supported Carib Voxx, investing in founder Lushane Salmon’s vision to amplify Caribbean voices and culture on global platforms through digital storytelling and media innovation.

In 2025, Adam took his entrepreneurial journey further into technology with the launch of Dwella, a property management startup designed to modernize how landlords operate and scale their portfolios. Dwella represents not just a product, but a vision for how the region can leapfrog outdated systems and adopt tools built for the future.

Adam’s story is also one of resilience. On May 17, 2025, he discovered a brain tumor. Just four days later, he underwent surgery, and by May 25, he walked out of the hospital determined to continue building. That return to work, fueled by survival and purpose, became another chapter in his mission to prove that Jamaican entrepreneurs are not only creative but also unshakable.

At 32, Adam stands as one of the leaders of Jamaica’s new entrepreneurial wave—a generation that is globally ambitious, locally rooted, and ready to tackle the world’s hardest problems with creativity, technology, and courage.
